It was a pleasure to create the artwork for Grayson the Library Guardian, written by Melissa Taylor, an award-winning educator, author, and literacy advocate who writes children’s books that celebrate curiosity, community, and the joy of learning.

The book tells the story of Grayson, a stone gargoyle living on the pediment of a beautiful old library in France. When he discovers that visitor numbers have dropped dramatically, he decides to step in to save the library from closing.
