This was inspired by the cover of Destination Moon, the 16th volume of Hergé's Tin Tin.

I wanted it to feel like the clean, stark colours of NASA's Kennedy Space Center, with elements taken from retro Sci-Fi classics such as Alien and 2001: A Space Odyssey.

To convey the size of the rocket I took inspiration from NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building, which is the 8th largest building in the world.
