I was commissioned by the lovely team at Amblr Studio to bring Pia Piano, their quirky and cheerful piano-teaching character, to life through animation.

Working from Amblr’s original illustrations, I first created the hand-drawn keyframes in Procreate, matching the colours, textures and visual style of the original artwork, before importing them into After Effects to produce the final looping animations.

You can see Amblr’s full case study here.
